Please measure your dog from base of neck to base of tail to determine which coat length to purchase. Please look at my pictures for the approximate place to measure your dog for the belly strap sizing.
These lovely coats are warm and cosy enough for smooth coated breeds or dogs that are clipped off. They are great coats for Autumn, Winter, Spring and even chilly Summer wet days!! and they look absolutely amazing.
Elasticated V shape in the front to allow free and easy movement for your dog when they are sniffing, investigating and playing.
Rear stretchy leg straps to prevent the coat from slipping.
Super reflective edging for safety at night when walking.
Splashguard chest protector to keep chest and stomache drier for longer especially on wet days and when walking through long grass, making drying your dog a little easier. Obviously the law of gravity means that some wetness will run down under the chest protector as it's underneath the dog, but it sure does help with the muddy splashes.
Adjustable, wide velcro straps for size adjustment and comfort around your dog's middle.
So easy to fit!! Simply pop over your dog's head, velcro up over the back, popper up the leg straps and away you go.
Machine washable at 30 degrees (please spray with Waterproofer after washing with detergent)
If your dog is particularly slender in build and is between sizes, it may be best to go for the size slightly shorter as the body fit may be better.
If your dog is particularly chunky in build and is between sizes, it may be best to go for the size bigger.
IF YOU ARE NOT SURE, PLEASE ASK AND I WILL TRY MY BEST TO ADVISE YOU
If your coat is a bit long but is a good fit on the body, then just tuck it under by the tail!
TOP TIP: I always buy a can of waterproofer every year from my local Ski or Camping shop and spray over my dogs' coats if I have put them in the washing machine with detergent. This replaces the waterproof layer that detergent and washing can remove. This is very common with waterproof jackets, be it of the dog/horse or human variety. I also spray my own waterproof coats after every wash with a light spray of waterproofer to keep my dry too as I find that washing my own waterproof coats can remove their ability to keep me 100% dry. So to ensure your dog coat stays waterproof after washing, I recommend you do this too. Alternatively, if it's just the chestguard that is getting filthy, then just wipe off this part of the coat in the sink to clean rather than washing the whole coat unnecessarily.
